The Cerebellum and ADHD
This 1998 study compares the size of the Cerebellum in 46 boys with those of a set of normal boys. Using MRI scans it found that parts of the cerebellum had significantly less volume in the ADHD sufferers that in the control group.
This adds weight to the Dore Centres / DDAT and other treatments that endeavor to train the cerebellum. The brain can be changed by training. This news story from a few years ago illustrates how the brain can grow: Taxi drivers’ brains ‘grow’ on the job
