Competitive Meditation
There are various products on the market that aim to train the brainwave activity in chidlren with ADHD. Now the Portsmouth Children’s Museum has a competitive game aimed at teaching children about brainwaves and biofeedback.
“Tilton and Sue Kaufmann, the director of exhibits, often see entire families challenge one another to Mindball matches. They have watched people use all sorts of methods to relax – meditation, child-birthing techniques, and even pain displacement techniques. Kaufmann and Tilton have seen spouses squabble when one tunes out their children better“.
