Stress & Memory: Forget It
Stress and learning difficulties go hand-in-hand (previous coverage). One of the leading researchers in this area is Professor Robert Sapolsky who has written a number of influential books on the subject including Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers and The Trouble with Testosterone
.
A number of interviews with Professor Sapolsky can be found here including a link to a lecture called Stress and Memory: Forget It. Recorded at the Exploratorium museum of science, art and human perception it is an amusing and information lecture. Note: The lecture starts about seven and a half minutes into the recording.
