do not loose heart

do not loose heart

My son Thomas has just completed the program. Please do not loose heart, if you feel the program is not working. It does take a little while to notice changes. With Thomas , the first change we experienced was his temper. Before the program he would fly into horrendous tempers and he would physically attack, me, his Dad and his little brother. When he was in one of his rages i can tell you he frightened me, i was left with bruises, scratches, and bite marks. Now you wouldn't recognise that boy. All in all it has taken us over two years to complete the program, but it was worth every penny. Thomas still struggles with maths, i think he always will, but we don't get tantrums very often, he has bags of confidence( he sang a solo in a school concert, which he would never have done before) and is a very happy, loving 10 year old boy. so don't get down hearted, stick with it, we had days when Thomas hated his exersises, did everthing possible to get out of doing them, but i'll tell you now, the Dore program does really work.               Catherine Marshall
