New to site
I am new to this site but wanted to join after hearing the news about Dore's closure. William started the programme 7 weeks ago and we were due our first assessment tomorrow. Although there has been no positive change in William (aged 7) in the past few weeks other than his general mood has got worse, more agression and frustration although not about doing the exercises as he actually panics if he thinks that I have forgotton about them, I am still extremely committed to the programme and it is so encouraging to read all the fantastic success stories on this site. ( Would incidently love to hear if this mood change is common in the first few weeks!)I was surprised to get a call from Dore this evening checking to see if I had heard that my son's appointment at Dore Edinburgh had been cancelled. I asked if this was the end for Dore and she said that she was extremely confident that that would not be the case and that Wynford would be making a video for the site to explain the situation further and that there would probably be a press release in the Guardian. The Dore person ( sorry, I cannot remember her name) said that although she had lost her job on Friday, she was working on a voluntary basis. She also told me about MyDore and said that the system was crashing a lot at the moment due to high usage!
Anyway, I sincerely hope this is not the end of the road for Dore, as I am so excited to see how it progresses for my son. I am trying to keep positive!
