Dore - New Companies and Skullduggery

Over on the Dore Talk forums, there is news of a new Dore company and a new company created by Bob Clarke.

Dear All

I have just generated a new Exercises book, and was intrigued by some of the wording on the front:

(C) Dore 2008 - ah ha - new company methinks, so I searched it on the Companies House website.

Dore Achievement Centres is also written on the new front cover - so I thought this might be another clue as to what is happening.

Anyway, I found a new company registered on 3 January 2008 - Dore UK Limited, so I paid my £1 to investigate (too curious for my own good sometimes!)

OK - so why has Bob Clarke set up a company called “Dore UK Limited” registered number 06462982? Why didn’t he call it “Clarke UK Limited”?

Does anybody else find this extremely strange?

UPDATE: Bob Clarke has commented back via the Myomancy Forum saying

I bought it to stop wynford dore using it. I had suspicions he woul dtry and set upi a new comnay and dore uk was the natural route. as it turned out i was wrong

Comments on: Dore - New Companies and Skullduggery

  1. Please note the following.

I had and still have a legal case against Dore. My suspicions back in January were that he would try and divert assets away from the company. I purchased tte Company name Dore Uk as in my oinion it was the obvious compnay name he would use.

This comnay has never traded nor will it ever do so.

As the administrators of the Doretalk Forum have “banned me” i cannot respond to any blogs.

However please note taht only 2 days ago a newspaper carried the story that Susie Dore had never actually completed the Dore programme, if this were true, how deceitful was this on Dore’s part.

An MP has now raised a question in parliament regarding Dore’s use/manipulation of the media, and quite rightly.

I am sincerely pleased for the parents of children that the Dore programme helped but please spare a thought for the many it did noit help and gave false hoe to.

Where is Wynford Dore now, it’s been nearly a month and still staff and parents are without money.

I have written my money off but i m still adament that the truth be told.

  2. There are very few parents who want their money back thanks Bob. We’re happy to continue with the programme via MyDore. What a srange thing it was for you to purchase the Dore name. Those grapes of yours really are sour aren’t they. By writing what you have about Susie, you have proved how low you will go to discredit Dore and that you are not fit to breathe the same air as Wynford. You got the sack, get over it and move on.

  3. Eraina, looking for a refund and continuing with ‘My Dore’ are not necessarily mutually exclusive. In Australia, definitely none of the money parents paid is going to ‘My Dore’ or anything else which might benefit Dore, it’s just being used to pay the administrators fees. In the UK then parents looking for refunds are getting them from credit cards, finance agreements, etc - not Dore, that money’s already tied up with the administration. Looking for a refund won’t make a difference to Dore now, or the financial viability of My Dore.

  4. Bob and Mark friel were the real cause of Dore’s early decease, they didnt have the first clue how to manage and motivate and lost all their good pa’s and didnt give a stuff. They later hired anyone who did not fancy working in Mcdonalds or being a cleaner and the professionalism went right downhill. Mark Friel for instance very rarely got up out his bed before 3pm weekdays and was the laziest pup i have ever encountered and for Bob Clarke, well he couldnt manage a cab office. Lets hope they get what they deserve and I know I speak for every single program advisor that ever worked for Dore.

  5. duck..i ALWAYS post under my own name and not under dore bore so get your facts straight please before accusing me of posting..i was directed to this comment by the poster named dore bore….I am not getting into any arguments about dore either here on on doretalk etc etc..it worked for us end of..luckily it was over two years ago and we didnt get caught up in the financial muddle that is going on now….also these forums have been taken over by people like you and bob with their own agenda…i neither have the time nor inclination to comment further…so leave me out of it. get it?

  6. although come to think of it it does echo my sentiments….

  7. would the money you have written off bob be thatfor unfair dissmissal by any chance? In the case where you ‘alledgedy’ sexually harrassed a physically handicapped woman? or was it about the ‘alledged’ misuse of the telecommuncations to send lewd texts to people? hmm im confused which one you mean… i seem to remember how the media ‘manipulated’ that case too….did it have an outcome?.. were you found ‘guilty’ of telling the thalidomide victim to ‘get her puppies on show’? i cant remember..maybe ill have to dig out those timesonline supplements to have a look and remind myself…..

  8. eraina, be careful you may end up with me suing you.
The thaliddomide victim to who you refer is a persoanl friend and i have justprovided her with a job referenec. I was never allowed to be part of the case and allegations against me persoanlyy were never brought forward. As for lewd text messages i can send whatever i like to someone i am having a relationshipo with.
You are brainwashed and even today will see no wrong when people have lost money while Dore buys back his own companies assets that were so cleverly protected.
Me being asked to leave Dore was more down to something called the Public Information Disclosure Act, ,maybe you should read uo on it.
Sour grapes, yes some, but unlike you i have a severley challenged 7 year old son currently in a special learning unit ( having been removed from 2 mainstream schools) who i wouldnt let anywhere near the Dore programme until certain questions i asked were answered. When they could not be it was time to go one way or another.
As for digging dig all you want i have nothing to hide unlike some people.

  9. That’s how you think you can get through life isn’t it Bob, threatening to sue people to try to silence them. Some of us are not scared of your attempts at intimidation. Eraina has said nothing about you that we have not all read somewhere before and didn’t directly accuse you of anything.None of us are brainwashed, we all have minds of our own and can make our own decisions. I have made the decision to support Wynford as he has supported us and to take everything you say with a pinch of salt.Your posts are doing a great job of telling everyone what sort of person you are. Your arrogance shines through between every line you write.

  10. I have never sued anyone, unlike a certain other person. The facts as reported were incorrect and i have nothing to be ashamed of. I denied certain things in a statement i did whilst working for Dore yet it was never used. As for being arrogant. Whats arrogant about wanting the truth to be heard.
I have said on other sites, for some the programme works bit not for all. And for those it does i am truely pleased. There is a lack of research that is a fact. For others it did not work and it can be claimed that there was false hope give. I also think it wrong that a company can close and because of clever corporate wrangling can open up again without paying its debts.
It is also wrong to use PR companies on 6 figure retainers to mantipulate the press and then use huge marketing budgets to gain advantage on the internet.
The learning difficulties area is a senstive one and one that should not be open to commercial manipulation. What arrogant about me saying that.
Too many people have not spoken out before as they were scared and have been threatened but noit by me.

I lso agree wth someone else this isnt the place to discuss this. E mail me personally of you wnat to chat but somehow i doubt you will.

  11. So Bob, you think it’s wrong that Dore closed and then carried on as MyDore. Would you rather it had closed permanently and left us all unable to complete the programme? Shame on you.

  12. P.S. Bob, I wouldn’t want my e mail address in your hands thankyou. I would suggest talking on doretalk or usersboard but I believe you are banned from those.( I wonder why) Anyway, I’ve said my piece and don’t want to waste any more of my time on you right now.

  13. Banned for telling the truth, something that will be happening in court very shortly.
No i am glad it reopened just sorry for those that paid for one kind of programme and ended up getting another. Sorry for the staff and suppliers that didn’t get paid.
I also think that there is an opportunity for someone somewhere, or an organisation to make a difference. Maybe not commercially but someone with credibilty should take up the learning difficulties baton and run with it. God knows who though.
In truth too many people (me included) waste energy having a go at each other rather than lobbying governments.
Dore will always be attacked until it sorts out it research and other questionable activities. Other organisations will be attacked for being too political, toothless and ineffective. In the meantime parents (again myself included) are left to bear the burden of having children deserted by the very people that are paid to protect them.
PS an apology for saying brainwashed, i have no doubt you are all very passionate people)

  14. Sorry Eraina, and also to DoreBore, genuine mistake! As Eraina said, it is the sort of thing I’d not be surprised to hear her saying.

  15. yes but like bob i dont hide behind false names as i have nothing to hide…

i never mentioned sour grapes bob..so why bring that up with me?

it may suprise you to learn that i am under no illusions about dore as a company, or wynford personally…however having seen the results for my self IN MY SON i have no doubt the programme worked FOR HIM…. if you can bring something to this world that will work for others then please do so…

its all the skullduggery and snipey backbiting and babble about research and wynford personaly that grips my shit…

if you have something better bring it on!!!

  16. duck, i think you’ll find dorebore MUCH more eloquent than me…lol xx

  17. ‘The learning difficulties area is a senstive one and one that should not be open to commercial manipulation. What arrogant about me saying that.’-Bob Clarke

Bob, i don’t know how you sleep at night.
I was at a sales meeting that you headed up. You started by giving us all a speech that we were sales people and that too many of us thought that we were ‘bloody social workers’. You went onto explain that from then on we were going to have to hit clients harder for the sale and said that if that anyone in the room didn’t like this then they had better leave. You then asked if anyone was leaving (no one got up..who would?) and you then carried on the meeting.
You truly are full of BS Bob.
There are only 3 things you truly care about- the thing between your legs and lining the two pockets either side of it.
The difference between you and Wynford is that if YOU had £15 million to play with you would sit back, live the high life and not give a damn for anyone…the thought of you risking it to help others is inconceivable.
You can reply with anything you like, but those of us who know you, and you yourself KNOW that its true.
From reading your posts on this site anyone can see that your main concern was Wynford moving money away from Dore which may impact on your tribunal payout!
    Grow up Bob…and move on!

  18. Eraina, i think my last post said it all.
I am personally suffering the pain of a son deserted by the system. He is 7 years old and one of the worse cases ever known in the south west of england and has already been excluded from 2 schools. He comes from what i would class as a middle class family and at home is superb.
Now he is in a sopecial learning unit and whilst his education has improved his behaviour has become worse.
I like many others feel let down by the system.
I just feel that more energy should be chalenged towrads government to find a solution. Dore may well be the answer but will never be accepted higher up until some of the research corners stop being cut and credibilty added.
I have said on numerous occassions i am truely glad if it worked for your child, but i have first hand experience that many many more leave disappointed.
The establishment “compnaies/charities” are all too worried about self preservation.
Why can’t everyone get round a table and fight for a common goal.

  19. but why could they not have done it years ago bob? it frustrates me to the point of having to walk away from the discussions regarding the dore programme…yes there may have been people it didnt work for..but what if there are many others missing out on the opportunity of finding out..i dont know what the answer is to that..the govt wont help…so its left for parent to pay privately whatever they choose.

On another note bob, Im not sure what sort of relationship you have with your sons school but his needs are not being met either academically or behaviourally then maybe its time to look at something else.(i take it he has a statement already) do you have any schools near you that have nurture groups? ed psychs and Camhs? Im sure you have probably been done these avenues already but maybe there are many things that school havnt tried?…I am very passionate about making sure these childrens needs are met (its also my job now!)I do know the pain parents suffer when their child has special needs and impacts on their behaviour. i have had it first hand to the point of not wanting to get up in the morning to dreading school leaving time….and whilst Dore changed that for me there are many many more out there not having their needs met due to a)lack of knowledge of services available b) lack of understanding c)looooooooong waiting lists for dxs d) lack of funding from Local Authorities….. the list goes on…

ok ill shut up now..its my day off after all….

  20. ok day …that plans moot now…
bob, you say your son is superb at home?
which kinda says to me that his behavioural problems are caused by the school enviroment or borne from frustration due to his learning difficulties….after all a child who has ‘behavioural’ difficulties doesnt usually switch it on and off between home and school..its usually constant. does he have a dx of anything in particular? and what are school doing to help him? these questions arnt dore related..just that i would like to know what strategies school have put in place for him or is he destined to become one of the forgotten ones that are placed in an SBU and whose ‘real’ problems are never dealt with.*sighs*

  21. I now fear the worse as he has been placed in a SBU already.
I am in the process of making representation to every authority possible at the way in which he problems have been dealt with.

  22. thats a start bob, but in the mean time what are the LA /school/outside agencies doing to help him NOW? what other help do you have for him now? Im not entirely sure what his actual probs are ie speech and language/dyslexic etc…
Its not just about complaining what he hasnt got, its about getting strategies in place for him NOW!!!! at seven he is missing a huge ‘learning’ window of opportunity…
behavioural units (IMHO) are not addressing the issues that cause the behaviour.. they do however seperate the ‘badly behaved’ kids from the mainstream…

i imagine he is statemented if he is in an SBU?

Like i said before these questions are NOT Dore related..thats a whole different issue..I would like to see your son (and every child for that matter)getting the help that is required and not just plopped in an SBU….

if you would like to discuss this off forum please email me..im sure you have my address…

  23. It’s strange that Bob says he has never intented to use the company he registered because he posted on another forum that he was going to make a formal offer to the administrators. http://dore.usersboard.com/dore-programme-f1/dore-limitations-and-future-directions-t13-75.htm
(Bobs posts on that forum will have GUEST as the username because his account was deleted because of rulebreaking I believe)

  24. Bob you’ve provided interesting comments and insight into Dore.
Many of your comments validate and confirm my experience during my short time with Dore.
Beginning to ’see the bigger picture’.
Not sure what to make out of this new confessional Bob Clarke though.
I have made harsh comments about you and I’m reserving judgement about you for now.
BUT there’s a ‘devil’ in me that says “Go for it, Bob.”

  25. Who just wrote the last blog?
Are you on some sort of payroll with Bob?

I am getting fed up of this Bob blogging nonsense. I could not care less about how Bob feels as my cat has more knowledge and decency than him. He is a waste of space and deserves everything he gets.
Do yourself a favour Bob. Emigrate to the farthest country you can think of and never come back.

  26. All this ‘Bob bashing Blogging’ it seems to me is a display of impotence and reminds me of an old Eastern European anecdote about a ‘madman’ who has lost his keys and is searching underneath a streetlight.
The man is asked ‘Why are you looking there?’ He replies, ‘I know I lost the keys over in the dark corner but it much easier to search under a strong light.’ The man never finds his keys!

  27. At least Bob has one friend. Perhaps you should get together and share a big bunch of sour grapes.

  28. Clearly, someone is still looking for the keys.

  29. I hope you find them very soon Via

  30. Via how do i get intouch with you? Lost your number and have been trying for ages to get intouch. we both had a nightmare with dore at the same time

  31. Hi ‘Storm’, where did you get that name?
I’m looking forward to ‘catching’ up with you.
I will let you know how to get in touch asap.
Just read the piece on ‘Dore reborn’!!!!

  32. Hi Storm, you can email me …… @hotmail, using the last 3 letters of your first name and the first 3 of you last name. I gave the ’sales manager’ a cartoon character nickname, can you remember? Put this name as the subject.

  33. have emailed you however unsure if i did it correctly its def me i was there when suzie said about going home to do exercises when we were both in the call centre. hope this works

  34. it has said failed email me at Boxermad12@googlemail.com

  35. Its funny after all these comments and threats that Bob hasnt been back with the results of the court case or any updates, I can`t find any info on the net regarding his proposed whistleblowing, me thinks that Mr Clarke was again blowing hot air per usual and that will hopefully be the last we hear from him, the way that Bob, Zoe and Mark ran Dore and the methods they used would have turned the stomach of a grave robber. I also find it hard to believe that Mr Dore was completley unaware of the techniques and the quality of the staff used towards the end. To read of Bob now showing nothing but sympathy for the customers of Dore makes me both uncomfortable and angry as they are the very people he signed up to a program that now completly wants to distroy. I have asked before how he sleeps at night, judging from the spelling and childish threats, probably with a bottle of whisky under the pillow. I hope the customers let down by dore find a program that is resonably priced and also works for them and their children and hope Karma sorts out the main culprits of dore.

  36. Most of the vitriolic criticism seems to be directed at the sales team.
The so called ‘caring professionals’ at Dore give themselves a ‘pat on the back’ but these ‘caring professionals’ and the sale management team are really two sides of the same coin.
I too believe that Wynford Dore sanctioned the questionable business practices at Dore and quite happily kept his blinkers on.
