This was a great book for me to learn so much about ADHD. It seems pretty current in research on what has and can be done. It was not an easy read for me but the amazing scope of contents and depth of specifics, discussions, and issues was just wonderful to find in one book.
My wonderful young grandson provides my motivation for my quest of knowledge, and that will be ongoing. I would not have wanted a lesser book just to get finished more easily or be lulled by one side of issues. I'll restudy and work with this material now and keep this book handy for future reference. The specifics of the 8 week parent training program seem really excellent and should help me improve our relationship and help our time together to be much more positive.
I will be getting other ADHD books, etc. and going to conferences, but I believe this book will "be a hard act to follow."
